We want buddyreeljournl.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of the editorial and design process rather than as an afterthought.
aria-expanded states rather than non-interactive elementsWe aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We review pages against those criteria as content is added, but we cannot claim formal certification or independent audit.
Some areas may not yet fully meet our target:
This statement concerns the website only. It does not describe the accessibility of any hotel, beach, harbour or transport service. Accessibility provision varies enormously across coastal accommodation in Denmark: modern properties are more likely to offer lifts and step-free access than historic inns or converted harbour buildings, and beach access facilities such as boardwalks or matting exist in some locations but not universally.
If accessibility is important for your trip, contact the property and the relevant local authority directly and describe your specific requirements, including the route from parking or public transport, door widths, bathroom layout and the surface and gradient of any path to the water.
If you encounter a barrier on this website, please tell us through the contact page. Describe the page, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology or browser you were using. Reports of this kind are the most effective way for us to improve.
If you need information from this website in a different format, let us know through the enquiry form and we will do our best to provide it in a reasonable timeframe.
